More $ for Samsung
Comline News Service is reporting, that Samsung sold a facility to Rothchild for $450 million and also received a $100 million infusion by Intel. Then it agreed over the next two years to sell $1.8 billion worth of bonds to Apple Computers to strengthen its liquid crystal display (LCD) operation. This will be used to streamline its production line, enabling price reductions. Samsung will also expand its production of LCDs for Apple's iBook. Sounds like it is a good thing that Apple had $3.1 Billion in cash at the end of the last quarter.

Price Waterhouse is providing the software and says that it is a Windows only product. Guess VirtualPC will become even more popular.

Web site popularity
Apple.com was #68 on the top 100 list, with 2,323,000 unique visitors July. Microsoft sites were #1 with 30,224 visitors. This according to PC Data. While I understand why most of the ones in front of it are more popular, why AT&T (#30 - 4,179,000) and Bluemountain Arts (#26 - 4,621,000)?
