- Obscure Apple Knowledge Web Site
- ResearchBuzz newsletter, which I have mentioned here a number of times, has an article about theapplemuseum.com web site. I mentioned it a couple of years ago. It is truly the repository of all kinds of Apple trivia.

- Web site to give free access to children's books
- In an Associated Press article, Sam Hananel says that a new Web site will make thousands of children's books from 100 different cultures available for free to Internet-savvy kids around the world. While they are just getting started by 2007, the International Children's Digital Library will hold about 10,000 books targeted at children ages 3 to 13.
More details at: www.icdlbooks.org (On the Mac, OS X is required for the Adobe eBook reader) (Access to the library site initially requires a direct Internet connection, such as a cable modem or DSL line. Those connecting by phone modems will be able to access the site in summer 2003.) Resources, access, cool stuff http://www.icdlbooks.org/
- Mac WebMaster Free
- Interested in some FREE software? I have been getting the newsletter called MacWebMasterFree for sometime now. But since I don't have a web site, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention. But the latest one got my interest. (Free word processor.) But there are lots of other things as well including a database called MacCatcher that contains detailed technical information on every Mac model + printers, scanners, cameras, iPod and Newton as well as the various OS versions. Plus it automatically updates.
Mac Catcher provides detailed technical information on every Apple Macintosh model along with information on Apple displays, printers, scanners, digital cameras, the iPod, Newtons, and Mac OS versions. A built-in update engine ensures the database is always up-to-date. Version 1.6.4 changes the update engine to work properly. - Gov Benefits
- The Federal Government seems to take a step back on the web everytime there is a change in administration. We are now starting to see some of the new sites brought together by the Bush group. This one on Benefits seems to be one of the most worthwhile of the bunch. See what you can qualify for at:

- MacUnlimited
- This new Mac site is run by the former editor of MacFormat a British monthly magazine and one of the first to include a CD with every issue.

- Adding more capability to your web site
- Meanwhile, Richard Huggins of Tyler MUG recommended the BraveNet web site for getting software that adds capabilities to your web site. Some of the products are free and others with more features have a small fee. But it is worth checking out.
