- Visual Quickstart Guide for Freehand 5.5
- by Lisa Howko
- If you're wanting to learn the basic "get you started" techniques of
Freehand, this book will take you there!! Sandee Cohen starts at "The Basics
(Ch.1)" with an introduction of the program's orientation for the tool bars
and menus and then eases you all the way through the harder items, like specialized
tools and exporting your work to other applications. This book is very easy to read
and understand and is geared for the beginner to intermediate Freehand user. Each
chapter takes you through the more indepth, difficult features of the program. And
with the Visual Quickstart Guide's tabbed pages, you can locate the topic you need
quickly and effortlessly.
- I highly recommend this Visual Quickstart Guide for anyone needing the "know
all" in a hurry. The chapters are concise and get straight to the point - no
boring technical talk here! The graphics are clear and easy to understand.
- Each topic is broken down into easy to apply steps, plus there are tips throughout
to get the creative juices flowing! Available through Peach Pit Press at $18.95 in
the softcover, this book is a must have reference tool for anyone interested in using
Freehand 5.5 for Mac.
