Wireless computers vulnerable

Some computers with wireless internet capabilities are vulnerable to attacks that could expose passwords, bank account details and other sensitive information even if the machines aren't actually online, researchers said.

Apple Looking For Another MacBook Manufacturer

MacBook Pro battery replacement: Systems running cooler after

Several MacBook Pro owners are reporting that their systems are running significantly cooler (from a tactile perspective) after having their batteries replaced under Apple's "Battery Exchange" program. MacFixIt reader Bob Guthrie writes:
      "The battery in my MacBook Pro 15" seemed to work well, but ran hot, so that the wrist rest above it on the left side became almost too hot to rest a wrist. I was not too concerned, but wondered about it.
