Educational, technology and humanitarian grants are back with the establishment of The Appleseeds Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
This February, The Appleseeds Foundation will begin accepting submissions from user group officers and teachers who wish to help their local schools through the Appleseeds Adopt-A-Teacher Program.
Selected submissions will receive full funding including shipping and taxes for the "Apple Educator Toolkit" which includes the following:
Requirements will be very simple, and winners will be selected on an ongoing basis. Beginning on January 1, 2006, downloadable Adopt-A-Teacher submission packets will be available at AppleseedsFound.org mark your calendar.

If you wish to be notified when the "Adopt A Teacher" submission packets become available, just contact the Appleseeds Foundation through the User Group Network, until the Appleseeds site opens in January.
Price values stated above are provided as a guideline only. Funding will be provided direct to the selected recipient as a cash grant for the full, delivered package, including merchandise cost, applicable local taxes and shipping. (In other words, the recipient will pay nothing.) A special accommodation will be made for user groups outside of the United States which are authorized by Apple, for schools which qualify for the Apple Educators' programs.
