Track time with TimeCache

Track time, get paid.

The Macintosh time and expense billing application from PandaWare goes to version 5.1.9. A free update, TimeCache 5.1.9 improves support for mouse scrollwheels in OS X, improves functionality in Mac OS X 10.3, and fixes a number of small bugs. They've even provided a Classic version.

Who uses TimeCache?

Graphic designers. Consultants. Copywriters. Art Directors. Attorneys. Architects. Multimedia developers. Web designers. Public Relations firms. Entrepreneurs. Accountants. In short, professionals who bill clients for their time and expenses -- and want to make sure they're paid in full.

What's new in TimeCache?

TimeCache boasts new features to make it easier to track your time and expenses the way you want, and to create reports and invoices. Check out TimeCache Features to learn more. We've also made it easier for workgroups to track time and expenses on common projects. Read more about workgroup support on a page dedicated to that subject.

What TimeCache users say:

Charles Haynes, Owner, Grafica, Inc. Graphic Design Studio
"Since we've been using TimeCache I can see a difference in our workflow and our bottom line. Currently we're using several Macs and OS 10.2.3. TimeCache has never faltered. It's easy to use and reporting is great. Tech support is very quick. It's my nature to try new things. I went to TimeCache on such a foray, but for the purpose of keeping time and billing it'll take a lot to get me to change."

See screen capture of the "Daily Log" - TimeCache 5.1's Daily Log window is where you enter your time and expenses each day. Think of it as the electronic equivalent of a timesheet. Each line of the Daily Log holds a billable entry, which includes the name of the Client and Project, a Billing Category and descriptive note. There's either a Time or Expense entry and appropriate charges associated with each line. Buttons at the end of each line let you start and stop timing the entry on that line.

See screen capture of the "List Manager" -- TimeCache works on the assumption that you don't enjoy retyping the same stuff time after time. So it keeps track of the elements you use for billing time and expenses in lists for easy entry. There are lists for Clients, Projects, Activities (billing categories for your time) and Expenses (billing categories for expenses). There's also a Notes Glossary, with its own unique list for quickly entering descriptive notes.
