Developed by critically acclaimed Monolith Productions, TRON 2.0 is an action-packed story-driven title inspired by TRON, the groundbreaking science-fiction motion picture.

In addition to the single-player experience, TRON 2.0 offers team-based multiplayer levels that allow up to 16 players to compete simultaneously.
"TRON 2.0 is a fantastic follow-up to a groundbreaking movie," said MacPlay CEO Mark Cottam. "The light cycle levels serve up some of the most action-packed game play I've ever seen."
TRON 2.0 upgrades the action with glowing 3D graphics brought to life with Touchdown Entertainment's state-of-the-art Jupiter engine. The cutting-edge "glow effect" brings to life and updates the look and feel of the film.
"Mac OS X with its stunning Aqua user interface, high-quality graphics rendering engine, and powerful performance is the perfect operating system for computer games," said Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. "TRON 2.0 capitalizes on the power and stability of Mac OS X and delivers a real and action-packed experience for Mac gamers."
The game features the voices of original TRON film actors Bruce Boxleitner and Cindy Morgan, as well as actress/supermodel Rebecca Romijn-Stamos who voices Mercury, a light cycle champion. Mercury is a fearless computer artificial intelligence or "Game Bot" who was created by an unknown user to help Jet navigate the dangers of a mysterious digital world.
