A graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, she worked as a TV news photographer and film editor, as well as an advertising copywriter and graphic artist. She has written more than two dozen computer books including Sams Teach Yourself Adobe Photoshop 7 in 24 Hours and Sams Teach Yourself Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 in 24 Hours. She is a contributing editor for Photoshop User Magazine and has written for Atlantic Fisherman, Adobe Magazine and the New Yorker.
