Skypeln & Skype Voicemail

I have been wanting to try Skype, but haven't gotten to it, yet. As most of you know, Skype provides free Internet telephone calls. It can even use an affiliated program to call phones that aren't on the Internet. Now, they are offering Skypeln to provide you with a phone number others can call. Also they have announced a Voicemail service. Both of these however are not free. Didn't think you would be able to get buy without paying anything did you? Read about it at MacWorld

AppleMatters

It is really interesting to see all the new blogs dedicated to Apple matters. This one actually uses that for its name. They have a good look at Apple's numbers, and a somewhat silly look at Apple's "next big thing". (A watch?) But it is an intersting read. See it at www.applematters.com

Associated Press Writer, William J. Kole rants:
"In the greedy world of spam e-mail and electronic fraud, nothing is sacred - not even the death of Pope John Paul II."
It took less than a day for the online criminals to latch on to the Pope's death and begin spreading a worldwide bogus moneymaking scheme. These online criminals attempt to lure in their mark with an offer of free books about the pontiff. Stop calling them spammers. Call them what they are: criminals.
