Apple, Google and the $100 laptop

According to this article, San Francisco is trying to set up a wireless network for its citizens, with the goal being to make the educational and other opportunities of the Internet available to those with under $15,000 incomes. Google is among those proposing to offer the network and Apple is used as an example of lower prices devices used to access the Internet. (iPod and iTunes). It really makes for an interesting read with some really terrific ideas of what the future could be in technology.
