Apple to open Indian call center

Apple is joining the ranks of all the other computer makers by opening a call center in India. They are stating, that this is because of all the new customers they have gained in the past year. New Apple Store for Back Bay?

Well, not yet, but Apple has show plans to a Back Bay planning commission to demolish a current building and erect a 3 story building in its place. This is really only a first step and the actual store is some time away from construction.. ... see the full story...

Something I wish I had thought of

Nicolas Pyers in Australia has developed a 30 year history of Apple using its print and video advertising. I have most of the TV ads over the years, but not the print ones. WWDC will be in August this year

Looks like the demise of the east coast MacWorld has opened up the schedule for WWDC to be held later. So Apple will be back to making major announcements in January and August, like they did for about 20 years. It will be held August 7 - 11 in San Francisco, probably at the Moscone Center. Wish I could afford to go. But then, I really don't have developer credentials. Now, maybe a press pass.
