Just because MySpace is getting a lot of bad press doesn't mean the owners aren't working hard to increase traffic and change some of that bad press into good press... the media was hot this week on reporting on the moves to make MySpace safe

Apple Corp of Dallas had its story about its new Lisa/Macintosh SIG liste on the Apple Computer History story. Ray Thompson, one of the founding members of the ACD wrote the story back in 1984. According to a MacWorld article, Forrester Research is saying that due to the consumers becoming so distrustful of Microsoft (in general and Windows in particular), Apple could double its share of the OS market for personal computers. In the report, they say that only Apple and Tivo had trust in their brands rise in the last two years. The report also said that many people do not equate iPod with Apple. Tara, a blogger on Blogger.com has written this very interesting article on customizing your personal home page on Google. Google has offered the home page for some time now, but Tara goes into greater depth on how to make it a portal and there really is a lot of customizing available that I wasn't aware. It seems not everyone thinks that Boot Camp will sell more Macs to Windows users. Andrew Kantor of USA TODAY makes a compelling case that it will do just the opposite. That is sell Windows machines to Mac users. Read the full article

Onlife is an application for the Mac OS X that observes your every interaction with apps like Safari, Mail and iChat and then creates a personal shoebox of all the web pages you visit, emails you read, documents you write and much more. It then indexes the shoebox so that it is searchable and lets you tag content using hot keys. It really sounds like it could become useful, since it works with over 15 applications with more coming.
