Apple Extends eMac Repair Program

This repair program applies to eMacs that exhibit a certain video or power-related issue as a result of component failure. To find out if your eMac qualifies, see Apples web site.

Glide to Synch Phones with PCs

TransMedia expanded its Glide Effortless social network last week, by adding a calendar, word processing, and the ability to synchronize files between two computers and a cell phone.
      Despite the new calendar and word processing applications, TransMedia Chairman and CEO Donald Leka sees the major advance with his company's network to be the automated PC-to-PC-to-cell-phone synchronization.
      This is particularly note worthy, because Microsoft has dropped synchronization from Vista. (Read More)

New generation of iPods could be delayed

Apparently analysts are predicting that the new iPod nanos and video iPods will be delayed. The issue on the nanos is a switch in RAM providers, while with the video boxes, they need extend the battery life. This article is predicting that the new nanos will be available in time for Christmas, (barely) but that the video iPods will be delayed until sometime in 2007. ... see the full story...

Adobe updates InDesign and InCopy CS2

Adobe has released updates for two of its Creative Suite applications, InDesign and InCopy, bringing both applications to version 4.0.3.
