I can browse through 55 billion (that's with a "b") web pages archived from 1996 to a few months ago. Want to see what Apple's site looked like? just enter their URL and see for yourself. Microsoft wasn't much better.
Coverage is sketchy for less than famous sites. I tried the UGN site and they didn't go back to 1995, and only archived certain pages -- not the front page ... www.archive.org
