Sony announced two Living Room PCs at CES last week. One of which contains a Blu-ray drive. The othr is a circular design of its older UX Micro PC that has all solid state memory.

Disney's CEO Robert Iger made a keynote speech at CES and pretty well let people know that they are intent on becoming a multimedia, multiplatform digital entertainment company. One of the things announced is a massive multiplayer online game based on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. This game will be launched sometime in the spring. Last Friday media reported that federal investigators have launched a probe into the option granted to Steve Jobs in 2001. The option had a false reporting date. In addition to Disney and the new contract with Paramount, Apple has now announce that more than half of the Sundance Film Festival's short films will be available on iTunes.
