This came from a listing on an iMac mailing list. There is a web site called Zamzar. It coverts files of documents, video, and audio. It goes from a bunch of different formats to and from different formats. No charge that I can see, but I would suspect that changing video would take awhile counting the up/downloads. Check it out at: www.zamzar.com/
A new version of the Amiga OS has been released. It is to run on the PowerPC machines that were sold under the Amiga brand. Unfortunately, there isn't anyone selling Amiga hardware at this time. Amiga was way ahead of its time. Guess they really need to unify the production. If you are an Amiga fan, check out the story at: arstechnica.com

Here's how it works:
A file reference in the QuickTime media link format is created (about 2 KB per movie) and the reference file is then added to the iTunes library. The original movie files will not be moved or altered in any way.
They also recommend downloading Perian as a plug-in for QuickTime. It enables Divx, XviD, FLV, AVI, MS-MPEG4 v1, MS-MPEG4 v2, MS-MPEG4 v3, DivX 3.11 alpha, 3ivX, Sorenson H.263, Flash Screen Video and Truemotion VP6 formats when they are inside an AVI: h.264, mpeg4, AAC, AC3 Audio, and VBR MP3 file.
