StreamingMedia.com: says "iPhone has broader implications for the future of mobile media delivery"
One comment I like in this article, besides the above is: "once again where these so called "competitors" in "digital music" are flattering themselves-they think Apple is competing with them. Apple doesn't even really consider Zune, Napster, URGE, Rio, or Creative a competitor. Why? They consider Wal-Mart a competitor. They consider Best Buy a competitor. David Morgenstern has a great little article about Apple history at eWeek's Inside Channel web site in the form of a trivia quiz. Such questions as
* "What are the founder's full names?" or
* "what was the operating system on the Apple ///?"
How many can you get? He does surprise me with a story of the "satellite" broadcast by Bill Gates at the 1997 Boston MacWorld Expo. I think I will not be the only one surprised.

Wow!! The things that pass for news now a days. Mac users not being security minded!! Who would have thought it? Of course we don't think much about security, Apple keeps telling us how secure the Mac OS is. Well, truth is, we really should be more mindful of firewalls and virus checking. Don't you think? Last week, Cisco and Apple agreed to share the iPhone name. Apparently, all Cisco got out of the deal was an agreement to continue talks on making their iPhone compatible with Apple products. Wonder if it will actually ever mean an agreement. Read Apple Inc.'s announcement
