Mailbag: Education is Prevention

After last week's post about identity theft we had a slew of UG newsletter editors asking for permissions to reprint our article. We get inquiries like this quite often. Folks, remember the original mission of the InfoManager and UGN was to provide the user group community with pre-digested news you can use. You do not need to request permission. We do not post anything we don't want passed along -- unless we specifically say so. With computer security, child protection and identity theft items, we actually WANT you to pass them to your readers and members.
Awareness and education are the first steps to prevention. And, thanks for reading.
