.Mac Dinner - Dec. 23 - 8 p.m. | User Group Network

When Santa arrived to the sound of sleigh bells there were almost thirty people gathered for MacDinner v7.

This was the Christmas Edition held to recognize the significant contributions made to the Mac user community by four Apple employees. At this busy time of year only three of the four could attend, but the missing honoree was not forgotten.
__ This was the first MacDinner I attended. I asked Bill Achuff what "v7" signified, and he told me, "Each MacDinner has been different, in some way, from the previous; not necessarily better, but different. Version numbers have helped us differentiate each from the other." Where have I heard that word before, "Different?" I was told the previous MacDinner, v6, was held in July to acknowledge the work done by volunteers with the [Kosovo] Refugee Internet Assistance Initiative at Fort Dix, NJ. Several members of the Princeton Macintosh User's Group (PMUG) are still working with several refugees many months after the Refugee Village closed.
