THE THEME FOR MDv7 left no doubt to any observer it was the Christmas season. "It's Jacki," Bill said, "who has given recent Dinners their unique look and attraction." Jacki Moore, Secretary, Macintosh Users Group of Southern New Jersey (MUGSNJ) suggested a Mardi Gras theme for MDv5 which was held in February, and the Hawaiian theme for MDv6 which was held in June. Bill Morlitz, Liaison, MLMUG, is the official MacDinner photographer. He took most of the pictures you see here with my Olympus digital camera, as well as his own 35mm.

Midway through the evening's festivities, Bill Achuff asked Moe Comeau, VP, MLMUG, to go see whether Santa had arrived. While Moe was looking, Santa slipped in, ho-ho-ho-ing. He passed out gifts, and a chunk of coal to a "naughty" Bill Morlitz; apparently he was responsible for Moe's being late to a User Group Breakfast at MACWORLD. Then Santa shared some humor he'd collected from the Internet, and departed before Moe returned. "Moe ALWAYS seems to miss Santa," Bill said, with a knowing smile.

Guests were told that if they brought a wrapped gift they would receive one in return. Quite a few did bring gifts, and that added to the evening's enjoyment. Even before Santa arrived with his bag of surprises, the gifts table was piled high with brightly decorated packages just waiting to be opened.
