I HAVE BECOME FRIENDS with the MacDinner organizer, Bill Achuff, and his two helpers, Bill Morlitz, and Jacki Moore, since meeting them during the iMac's initial rollout weekend. We had all volunteered with others to work at Micro Center, in St. Davids, PA, during Apple Demo Days.
__ This was the first MacDinner promoted with a website. Randy Zeitman, of Main Line Macintosh Users Group (MLMUG), helped design the webpage which was completed and then hosted by Fred Showker, User Group Network (UGN).
__ "Planning and executing a MacDinner is a tedious task," Bill Achuff said, "and I could not do it without help. Jackie Moore and Bill Morlitz are always at my side, and for each Dinner I have had additional help from others." Joe Goldberger, a member of Philadelphia PowerBook Users Group (PPUG), Marc Robinson, a member of MLMUG and his wife Mallory Gerber, did all the Christmas wrapping of vendor donations, thirty minutes before the attendees began arriving. Elves, Bill called them.
