Top Ten Signs You're About to be Ripped Off - One of the internet's most pressing issues is dealing with the deluge of unsolicited email. (Aka: UCE, or SPAM) The spam merchants won't stop it, they're getting rich off it. (Yahoo.com, MSN.com, Excite.com, Hotmail.com, and many others.) The spam patrons won't stop it, they're too cheap to conduct business on the up and up. So that leaves the spam recipients to start helping curb this global epidemic.
* All User Group editors are urged to reprint this month's 60-Second Window in their newsletters. Help spread the work to all computer users that the spam epidemic won't stop until people stop reading and responding to it.
__This months column points out the TOP TEN sure signs that the email is bogus and should be trashed immediately, or reported to the Spam Cops.

Touch A Key ... Eject A Disk ! (Mac) - EjectDisk is a handy application/extension combination. With the touch of a key you can eject any removable media from your computer, ranging from the humble floppy to the latest Jaz cartridge. You can even open and close the CD/DVD tray. EjectDisk is similar to the Command-Y function of the Finder in function only--unlike that command, EjectDisk can evict storage from your desktop from within any program, and you don't have to select the disk beforehand.
