Macintosh Explorer 4.2 adds spring loading tabs

Rage Software has rolled out Macintosh Explorer 4.2, a free, major update to the integrated file browser and file management tool and the first Macintosh file browser to include tabbed file browsing.
Macintosh Explorer brings the hierarchical navigation style of Windows Explorer to the Mac.
Complete with filter based file browsing and all new tabbed browsing, Macintosh Explorer surpass the functionality of Windows Explorer.
Also offering powerful file management tools such as the batch file info changer, back up utilities, folder archiving features and extended file information, Macintosh Explorer is a new, unique way to navigate files.
Macintosh Explorer 4.2 adds
- spring loading tabs,
- the ability to calculate folder size while browsing,
- an auto-complete path field allowing you to quickly jump to specific folders on your hard drive,
- a snap back feature which lets you quickly snap back to the last entered directory,
- speed improvements and many other minor enhancements.

Macintosh Explorer 4.2 is a free upgrade to registered 4.x users. Macintosh Explorer is available for users of Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS X 10.2 or later. It can be downloaded from the Rage Software web site at www.ragesw.com. Macintosh Explorer can be purchased for $15.95 US from Rage Software's online store with volume discounts also available.
An upgrade to version 4.x from previous versions of Macintosh Explorer is only $7.95 US.
