Superstars HD Powertools

Lionel Tepper

Motionstream releases Superstars HD Powertools, the first library of 3D star geometry that contains royalty-free high resolution images for print and high definition animations for broadcast -- all in a single package.

Motionstream has released Superstars HD Powertools, Volume 1, the first stock library that enables the coordination of graphic elements across print and video production.

Superstars HD Powertools contains more than 500 royalty-free animation and design elements in a three-DVD-ROM package and includes 33 high definition (1920 x 1080p @ 30 FPS) animations saved as uncompressed QuickTime¨ files. Over 200 high resolution renderings (300 DPI) are included for use in print media.

Superstars HD Powertools, Volume 1 moves beyond the standard royalty-free stock currently on the market with two additional unique features:

250 looping 3D source animations (640 x 480 @ 30 FPS) ranging from simple, elegant stars to complex, detailed stars. With 17 different stylistic executions, these animation loops can also be used as source files for particle generators in applications such as Apple Motion¨ 2 and Adobe After Effects¨ enabling the user to create an unlimited number of original animations.

3D datasets for all 17 star styles allow the user to animate the data in his or her own way, extending the power of the Superstars HD Powertools beyond the usual stock offering.

Each star style is saved in Wavefront (OBJ), Lightwave (LWO), 3D Studio (3DS), and Cinema 4D (CD4) file formats for import into most 3D applications.

Every Superstars HD Powertools animation file includes a full alpha channel for easy compositing in any application that supports the QuickTime format. Every high definition image file also contains a full alpha channel and is saved in Adobe PhotoShop¨ CS.
