Shadowgate comes to the Palm

Infinite Ventures, Inc. has released the award-winning graphic fantasy adventure game, Shadowgate Classic for Palm OS compatible devices.

Infinite Ventures, Inc. president, Eugene Evans says:
"Once again fans of classic adventure games can enjoy this point and click challenge, now on their Palm OS device. The game won a number of awards and was critically acclaimed by reviewers and players alike when we re-released it on the Microsoft Pocket PC. We hope it will be equally received by Palm OS device owners."

A World of Fantsay

Shadowgate Classic immerses the player into a compelling world of fantasy.
The game fully utilizes the color graphic capabilities of Palm OS devices. Fantastic beasts, devious puzzles, and heroic challenges await the player as they seek to overcome an ancient evil that threatens the land. Armed only with their stylus, players will explore the world of Castle Shadowgate.
"The original game was one of a series that helped define the concept of point and click adventure games. This style of game play is ideal for stylus play," explained Evans.

Originally released in 1987, the Shadowgate series has sold over 1,250,000 copies. Rights to Shadowgate were acquired by Infinite Ventures in 1997. Since then, the company has licensed a number of games based on the franchise including Shadowgate Classic for Game Boy Color.
