TextStitch for Adobe InDesign

reduce the number of mouse clicks needed to thread together multi-frame text flows

Rorohiko Ltd has released 'Lightning Brain TextStitch for Adobe InDesign Plug-In.

This is the next installment in Rorohiko's growing range of free plug- ins. It is available to InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3 users on Mac OS X or Windows 2000/NT platforms.

This plug-in helps the user to highly reduce the number of mouse clicks needed to thread together multi-frame text flows. Two threading methods are provided: 'Quick Stitch' which allows threading of frames in user-defined order with just a single mouse click per text frame, and 'Auto-Stitch' which threads loose text frames in fully automated fashion.

- a free scripted plug-in. This is the next installment in Rorohiko's growing range of free plug-ins. It is available to InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3 users on Mac OS X or Windows 2000/NT/Vista platforms.

This tool helps you quickly select a number of loosely related page items on a page or a spread. Instead of having to shift-click-click- click... to select a number of similar, but scattered, frames, you can instead select a single frame, and then use the new 'Select All Similar' function (preferrably assigned to a shortcut key) to automatically select all the other similar frames on the same page or spread in one go.

A typical example usage is to manage pages that have multiple intermingled copies of a few frame types - for example, there are image frames for some pictures, and every single image frame is accompanied by a caption frame right underneath.

LikeFindsLike helps when you want to select, for example, just the image frames, without selecting the caption frames as well (e.g. because you want to move only the image frames to a layer, or group them, or nudge them, or delete them, etc...).
Supported platforms: InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3 on Mac OS X or Windows 2000/NT/Vista
