Do Business on the WEB!

Heidi Richards,

The Women's Ecommerce Association, International - WECAI.org (pronounced wee-k) with members all over the world (nearly 600, representing 42 countries) announces our Inaugural World Congress for "women who do business on the WEB" taking place September 19-21, 2005. The beautiful island of S'o Miguel in the Azores (3 hours from New York) is hosting the Congress. This year's theme is Women and ECommerce - Connecting, Inspiring, and Thriving Beyond 2005.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

There will be food demonstrations by local chefs, attendees will have a chance to create a masterpiece as we are instructed by local artists in picturesque settings and much more.

Our goals for this conference include providing fresh insights, trends and ideas to help attendees better understand ecommerce, connecting and networking with Women around the Globe, and discovering the islands of Azores.

ABOUT THE DESTINATION:

The magical Azores Islands, the triumph of beauty - where nature, tradition and modernity live side-by-side, offers so much.

Attendees of The Inaugural World Congress will be touched by the sapphire blue and emerald green lakes, fertile prairies, volcanic cones and craters, colorful hydrangeas and azaleas, 15th century churches and majestic manor houses. This legendary land, consisting of nine poetically-named islands, enjoys year-round mild temperatures (between 14'C and 22'C-57'F and 71'F) and is a peaceful shelter with a population of 250 000 inhabitants, for whom the words "stress" and "pollution" are not part of their vocabulary.

There are several pre and post conference tours scheduled as well as visits to key points of interest during the Congress.

Several organizations and individuals are already supporting and promoting the Congress through their networks. They include:
