AbiWord 2.2 is a multi-platform word processor that combines good usability, powerful features, inter-operability, and a powerful framework to extend the program as needed. Version 2.2 of AbiWord includes support for Mac OS X.
Mark/Space has released The Missing Sync for Palm OS v4.0.2, its application for syncing handhelds with Mac OS X. This release adds support for palmOne's Treo 650 and Tungsten T5, speeds up synchronization operations and better supports many conduits, including Now Up-to-Date, Photos/Media Conduit, NotePad and airline schedule conduits. Version 4.0.2 also improves iTunes integration and better detects conduit conflicts. The application allows users to sync data with iCal, Address Book, Microsoft Entourage as well as connect to a handheld using Wi-Fi (AirPort) or Bluetooth, mount memory cards on the desktop, import/export photos to/from iPhoto, and share a desktop internet connection.
Bookit 3.5 is a bookmark manager that supports the latest Web browsers for Mac OS X . Bookit compares the bookmarks you have and then lets you synchronize the bookmarks that are not in all of your browsers. Finally, Bookit creates identical bookmark files for each browser. Bookit 3.5 adds complete support for all of the latest web browsers available for Mac OS X. Including OmniWeb 5, Opera 7.5, Camino 0.8 and Firefox 1.0.
Yummy provides an innovative FTP and SFTP browsing and transferring experience, with a level of functionality only found in alternatives costing almost twice the price. The new version adds full VMS support, the ability to set User and Group attributes using SFTP, an option to hide Trash can icon, and interaction with FTP URL files, interarchy, Fetch and Vicom FTP Bookmarks.
HistoryHound 1.7 enables users to search the entire content of all recently visited Web pages, plus all bookmarked pages. Version 1.7 improves international support, adds search capabilities for Opera, Shiira, NetNewsWire 2, and PulpFiction browsers, includes several new convenience features, and increases reliability. PureFTPd Manager 1.4 is a simple Cocoa frontend to PureFTPd, a free (BSD), secure, production-quality and standard-conformant FTP server based upon Troll-FTPd for Mac OS X. Version 1.4 now detects when it gets de-authorized, fixes a startup error, and fixes a crash bug.
More iChat Smileys 2.5.1 includes 150 smilies for iChat, Adium, Proteus and Fire in more 15 languages. "Smilies" are small icons that can be used in text conversations to represent emotions. Picture
NewsFire 0.5 is an elegant RSS news reader for Mac OS X that features a dynamic animated user interface. This new release includes enhancements such as the addition of a new title & summary list view, the ability to chain Smart Feeds together, the ability to hide subscribed feeds, and an improved search feature with as-you-type searching.
iGetter 2.1 is a full featured download manager and accelerator for Mac OS X. Version 2.1 allows exploration of entire Web or FTP sites. Additionally, Site Explorer displays the Web contents rendered in a separate view below the site tree. A few bugs were also addressed.
AgentEYE is an SNMP agent that monitors OpenBase database activity, database size, and active connections. The software keeps statistics on selects, updates, inserts, and deletes per second, and also scans message log files and tracks error messages. AgentEye licenses ranging from a free trial to a $ 549 PowerCenter Multi-Server license.
