AB Transfer 1.0 reads, converts and imports contact data from files to the Mac OS X Address Book. An upcoming "pro" version will allows users to import data from database sources such as FileMaker, MySQL or generic ODBC sources.
Calq 1.2 offers an on-screen, "floating window" calculator that can be activated by a custom hot-key. Calq will hide itself on inactivity and after switching to another application. Version 1.2 allows (multiple) standard calculations to be linked to single keystroke, a new optional menubar icon/menu, improved accuracy, and more. It runs on Mac OS X 10.2. (See Picture)
Ch 5.0 is an embeddable C/C++ interpreter for cross-platform scripting, 2D/3D plotting, numerical computing, shell programming and embedded scripting. The new release supports multi-threading in embedded scripting and provides Borland Builder project sample for embedded Ch.
Navicat, a MySQL client, now offers support for Character Set of MySQL, and adds a Filter Wizard feature. The database management tool can perform MySQL administration and database development, import/export functions, backup data, transfer database from server to server, create visual sql queries and manage multiple databases on local or remote MySQL server.
Aspyr's Game Agent 1.1 allows users to easily match a computer's hardware with system requirements of various games. The Mac OS X application automatically checks a specific Mac configuration. Version 1.1 can customize their Mac configuration or the standard Apple configurations to see which games will run with different upgrades installed and now displays ESRB ratings for all games.
Puzzability's Puzzle Trifecta is a unique collection of 100 interactive puzzles accessible from a Web browser. The Java-powered games are comprised of three popular types of puzzles culled from the Puzzability vaults: 20 "Blockbuster" sliding block puzzles, 40 "Say What?" quote puzzles, and 40 "Step by Step" word ladders. Bubblomania X 1.1 is a fast action arcade game, featuring subtle gameplay, flashy graphics and great music. Version 1.1 features a full-screen mode, fade effects, new hints, and more.
PDF Browser Plugin 2.2 adds PDF viewer functionality to your Web browser using Quartz technology built into Mac OS X. Version 2.2 improves stability, increases accuracy of standard size on most displays, and offers optional display of real page numbers in addition to page labels while scrolling.
A little pricey to be included in a "shareware" library -- but notable software just the same. WireFusion allows 3D artists, Web developers and programmers to easily create interactive Web3D presentations from their X3D and VRML models.
iGetter adds a new QuickTime-based preview, an improved transfer log, a new speed limiter slider, support for "Content-Disposition" HTTP protocol for proper file renamng, and support for FTPS. iGetter is a full featured download manager and accelerator for Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
Safari Prairiefire cleans up Safari's bookmarks and reports dead or expired links. The user can quickly delete, verify, edit, and update the bookmarks. This is a process that is so tedious to do in Safari that it has become easier to create new bookmark when the old ones go dead.
Mac Remote Control 1.1 is an application that gives users remote access to their Mac. It allows users to quit or launch applications, as well as sleep or wake up the Mac with the new version.
StreamWatcher is a sophisticated network monitoring utility for Mac OS X 10.3, which can view all network traffic at a glance. Users can summarize all traffic on their network to get an overall picture of activity or can use StreamWatcher's live search to dig deaper and see statistics for individual protocols, computers, or connections.
