NewsMac Pro is a major update to the RSS reader for Mac OS X, designed to make the best use of screen space and enhance efficiency. Improvements include a built-in podcast player, new and updated themes, quick access to new headlines, and more.
chartConstructor 2.1 creates charts to aid with project management. Build Gantt and PERT charts to be printed, exported as image or CSV files for inclusion in other documents, or on the web. Version 2.1 is a free update for all registered users, and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
PatternMaker 1.1 includes scripting support for increased creativity and time-saving capabilities. PatternMaker is now free with three PostScript patterns included. One simple palette lets you modify all the different parameters in each pattern. Pattern-Pack 1.1 ($100) is a new plug-in with 13 additional original patterns. Native InDesign effects work directly on the pattern itself, not just the containing pattern. You can also skew, scale, shear, and do anything else to a pattern and, because it's PostScript, it'll still print perfectly at any resolution! (Click for a Picture)
Chameleon is a plug-in compatible with Adobe Photoshop (and compatible applications) for automatic adjustment of inserted objects to the target image color range and smoothing of the object's border. Users can insert new objects into a picture with flexibility as well as conceal undesirable artifacts by replacing them with nearby parts of an image.
MacMemoriesManager is an update to the Amateur Radio memory manager software. MacMemoriesManager saves multiple memory files for different situations and switches easily between profiles. Version 3.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher and a serial port or USB serial adapter and a cable for the radio interface.
JunkMatcher now adds SpamBayes, a powerful Bayesian spam filter, to its comprehensive arsenal of spam-fighting tools. JunkMatcher filters spam via blacklist lookup and pattern matching using regular expressions. It integrates with Mail.app and Address Book. Other changes include improved stability, better error handling, and several bug fixes.
Rondo 1.2 is a free update to the MIDI player for Mac OS X. The update provides the ability to change channel colors, check for new versions, and display different meta and system messages in their own columns. Rondo is also designed to help aspiring musicians practice, featuring a vertical piano roll with live scrolling and a horizontal playing piano "so that you can follow the music even if you can not read music scores."
SimpleMovieX is a movie editor for Mac OS X. The update brings improved MPEG authoring through enhanced editing support, export and audio transcoding as well as compatibility with Tiger, improved MPEG saving reliability, and French localization.
FTP Suite 4.1.2 is a collection of classes and code modules which allows REALbasic applications to implement the FTP protocol. New in version 4.1.2 is a bugfix that prevented StartGetDirList and GetDirList from working properly, as well as three new "smart" commands: AbortTransfer, RestartGetSingleFile, and RestartPutSingleFile.
SafariSnapShotter offers the ability to save and share tab-states in Safari windows with one click. New in version 1.1, Tiger and Panther 10.3.9 compatibility and review/search saved URL functionality.
Feeder by Reinvented Software is an application for creating, editing and publishing RSS feeds with Mac OS X. With full support for the RSS 2.0 specification, features inlcude auto-completion and templates to save repetitive typing as well as automatic updating of publication dates, HTML previews, feed validation and more. Enclosure uploading and support for iTunes podcasting extentions are also supported.
Sinbad is a web searching application designed to simplify web browsing and information retrieval, providing a consistent simplified user interface for all web services. Included are modules for finding song lyrics, famous quotes, country facts, books, restaurants, albums, Amazon items and more.
