20 Apps 40 bucks

20 Apps for Leopard

20MacApps, a project from NameNetwork Ltd, have announced the immediate availability of their special pre-launch savings bundle for the new project. Over the course of the next year, a new Mac application will be revealed every two weeks across a wide range of categories. Prelaunch customers will get all 20 apps for the price of just two of the applications, which will be sold alone for $20 each, plus a free copy of Billy Frontier, the space cowboy game, and a chance to enter the BETA program.

However, the bundle will be increasing in price every day starting Tuesday.

"Mac application bundles come in many varieties, but the 20MacApps promotion is truly something new," explains NameNetwork CEO Mark Howson, "With 20MacApps, all of the applications are brand new, good value for money and of a really amazing quality when bought alone from us at $20 each, but $40 for all 20 applications is an unbelievable offer."

"Some of these applications are from the 'big guys' that we've all heard of," he continued, "but we're also really focused on giving new developers a way to cost effectively promote their products. All the applications will be exclusively published by 20MacApps, and sold by 20MacApps, TheMacPak, and also by some of the deals sites we all know and love."

While NameNetwork are remaining mum about the applications included, they have revealed a rough list of what types of applications consumers can expect on their website, including four games, two web design apps and one video application. One application will come out every two weeks starting February 1st, and NameNetwork has promised that pre-launch buyers will get every application a day early. Each application will cost $20.00.

Furthermore, around 100 pre-launch buyers in the United States will be accepted into a BETA testing program for the applications, subject to the eSigning a None-Disclosure agreement to ensure application details are not leaked.

"We realized early on in planning this prelaunch that consumers wouldn't want to wait until we brought out the first of the fortnightly applications without getting anything, so we're going to be throwing in a copy of Billy Frontier, the popular space cowboys game from Pangea, and also access to some other cool discounts and promotions with our sister sites, and also with other retailers. In fact, the discounts we'll offer between now and February will more than pay the $40 investment that customers will be making now!"
