Crimson Sky BitClamp

The AppZapper of Encryption

BitClamp empowers users to secure data quickly, easily and effectively in a one stage process. First, BitClamp compresses the document to save space on a hard drive, then encrypts it in one of a series of encryption standards from 64-Bit 'Blowfish' encryption to 128-Bit 'Serpent' and 'AES' encryption for mission critical documents.

BitClamp is a simple to use, secure, fast, drag and drop application with a great Cocoa look and feel, and the developers plan to port the product to the Windows platform - great for users 'on the go', transporting sensitive documents from home to the office and back again. This Windows version of the BitClamp client will be available Q1 2008.

BitClamp brings out the spy in you by letting you 'hide' your private and confidential files under normal-sounding file names. As the developer explains:

"Familypics.jpg could in fact be that killer business plan that you don't want anyone to know about."

Great for those of us working on shared computers. Also available from launch is a complimentary decryption agent, that allows users to remove the encryption from files, but not encrypt them, to ensure anyone can take advantage of this amazing new technology.

BitClamp is also 100% Tiger and Leopard compatible, and is a universal application, to ensure that it also runs great on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It's an essential piece of software in a world where Identity Theft is becoming a worrying norm. According to the Better Business Bureau, there have been over 9 million victims for two years running.

BitClamp is to be made available exclusively through TheMacPak, explained General Manager of TMP's parent company, NameNetwork Ltd.

"By choosing to use TheMacPak to launch BitClamp, we've been able to cut some really great deals with Crimson Sky Software. The RRP of the product is $20.00, but for the first week, we'll be selling it for $10.00, and then $15.00 for the second week. We'll also refund one in a hundred customers, giving you a good chance of getting the software completely free."
