Do you crave power? And can you exercise it and still be elected? Popular Mac-only game publisher, Red Marble Games, has announced the release of Positech Games' popular Democracy 2 for the Macintosh. Unique, with a deep and accurate simulation, and highly entertaining, Democracy 2 is a compelling update to the top-selling original game.
In Democracy 2, players start as the elected head of a country of the player's choice. By making choices to resolve dilemmas and implementing various policies, players try to improve their countries' lot without angering enough voters to be turned out of office.

The new game covers policy debates in more depth than the original Democracy game, ranging from stem cell research to school prayer to state health care. There are now far more policies to implement, a much more accurate simulation, and a selection of real-world statistics to compare to your own results.
Democracy 2 also adds cabinet ministers, each responsible for a different area of your country's policy. You'll need to monitor their loyalty and effectiveness, and help them to give you the political power you need to implement changes.
Priced at only $22.95 (USD), Democracy 2 for the Mac is a Universal Mac OS X application that requires Mac OS X 10.4 or better, and is available for immediate download directly from Red Marble Games' website.
