Darwinia for MacOS -- Nearly three years after taking the underground gaming scene by storm with Uplink, Introversion Software is poised to release its follow up title, Darwinia. Ambrosia Software, Inc. is once again teaming up with Introversion to deliver a quality MacOS X version of Darwinia to eager Mac gamers.

Combining fast paced action with strategic battle planning, Darwinia features a novel and intuitive control mechanism, a graphical style ripped from 80's retro classics, and a story concerning a tribe of video game sprites trapped in a modern 3D game world.

The world of Darwinia is a surreal and Retro place, filled with epic fractal vistas and populated by iconic video game sprites from the past twenty years of computer games. The world is locked in warfare and on the verge of self-destruction, as the once peaceful Darwinians are besieged by a massive Red Viral onslaught. Against the backdrop of this war, the game takes place.

The EV Nova collectable board game!

This new collectable board game is the incarnation of the popular Escape Velocity: Nova computer game. Developed in conjunction with ATMOS and DG Associates, the game is an expandable card-driven board game based on the universe and story-lines of Escape Velocity: Nova.

In this game, you will take the role of a trader captain in a vast and dangerous galaxy. There are pirates, aliens, and enemies lurking behind every asteroid, waiting to strike when you least expect it. Meanwhile, there are vast riches to acquire, intriguing missions to run, and new technologies to discover.

This game intricately weaves adventure, trade, political conflict, military tactics, and strategy together to give you the best of what makes Ambrosia's computer game a classic, and what makes the DG Associates Card Gaming Systems so ground breaking! There is almost nothing you can do in the computer game that is not represented in this game, and yet, it is still simple enough for an 8 year old player to understand. Escape Velocity: Nova has fast action, political intrigue, immense variety of options, and an intense struggle for survival!
