Notes on Maps

link files to a map

MapMemo 3 -- Drag any file, or folder, or webadress ... on the MapMemo Map. They get automatically linked and you are done.

MapMemo 3 is a significant upgrade to the industry's unique software to link files to a map. MapMemo 3 introduces both of the top requested features: print to paper/ print to pdf and new map-layers to use several maps one above the other.

MapMemo

"MapMemo 3 was designed to enable the rapidly growing community of users worldwide to create powerful links between files and the places they refer to," said Alexander Stengel, inventor and owner of MapMemo. "We see a huge interest in MapMemo in the last months, mostly because people use online mapping services more often and start to look for a tool that is more flexible in linking files, keeps their privacy and works offline, too."

Print the entire reference structure between files and maps.

Export to text creates a new Map with number-indexed Memos and a indexed list with all the details about what is linked to what place. This makes MapMemo files accessible for Linux or Windows users, and in order to use the enriched maps also while traveling without a computer.

MapMemo 3 offers layered maps.

Users wanted to organize their files on different versions of maps and use annotation and marking layer. Because map layer can have transparencies and can be switched on/off the possibilities are endless now.

UGNN Alert MapMemo 3 is available today as download from the website http://www.mapmemo.com for $25 (US). Users who registered MapMemo after March 1st 2007 get the upgrade for free.

MapMemo can be used unlicensed without any limitations, but if the user wants to create more than 3 MapMemo files or save a file more than 3 times, he gets kindly asked to get a license.
