MultiAlias This clever bit of freeware does exactly what the name says: it creates a small alias that can point to multiple items. Users often find that they open groups of applications for various projects. With MultiAlias groups of files, applications, or documents all open when you click a single icon. One of my favorite features of this application is a "find" feature that searches for specific strings of text without the indexing that Sherlock requires. Better yet, the author offers a separate developer kit so that users can write their own externals. With UGather you can create a database to store many different types of information related to each file: author name, copyright information, and any amount of text, graphics, and audio files.
